thoughts of the future

Questions such as "have you finished applying to college" and "Where are you going to school next year?" Have been coming up in so many different conversations. I wish so badly that I could tell people 'I'll be heading to OSU!' (go pokes), but sadly that isnt the case. Due to financial issues in my family, leaving for college doesn't really look like a possibilty. Even the thought of me staying here doesnt set well with me, but I know all in all God has a plan. Maybe some more time with my family is a good thing, but traveling sounds nice too.... 

Seeing all of my friends slowly working things out in their lives, finding room-mates and recieving acceptance letters is a tad frustrating and I cant seem to feel almost jealous. I feel as though I'm missing out on an important part of senior year. 

OSU is just so beautiful and I wish I even had the opportunity to apply. I never told my parents this, but I found an amazing catholic school in Rhode Islad called Salve Regina University. I am obsessed, but I know that it is entirley out of the question. I know that taking classes at North Lake and working over the summer are good options for me, but my life long dream is to travel the world. I want so badly to go to Paris, Italy, Englad and anywhere else you can think of. 

A huge positive this whole situation is my best friend Nancy is pretty much in the same situation. She has no idea what she wants to do or where she wants to go. It makes my life so much easier knowing that she is just as confused as I am. 

I'm just going to continue to live my life of attending school, church, 242, dance class and spending time with friends, hoping that God will soon show me what he wants for me.
