being artsy is fun

Yesterday I hung out with Emily. We went shopping in the early afternoon and once we got back we both decided we wanted to do something crafty. Emily is quite the drawer and has always been pretty good at art. I am not too bad, but mine never turn out as good as hers do, but I wanted to give it a shot. I found this painting of an old camera on Pinterest (my best friend) that I really liked and decided to give that a go. It surprisingly turned out quite well and I cant wait to hang it in my room! Emily found a really nice bible verse on Tumblr and added colorful flowers around it as a border. It was a nice afternoon to sit outside with my best friend and just paint. We also bought six cookies from Great American Cookie at the mall which was kinda sad, but they were delicious. :)
