Like I said in an earlier post, Megan was the first to leave. She left August 4th for OSU and boy was that early!! She was like my second mom and really made me feel included in everything she did junior and senior year. Watching her drive off with her entire family really made this whole 'leaving' thing feal real.
One by one my friends all followed, Maci, Stacey, Emily, Annemarie, Jill, Alex, Mary, Alyssa, Ali and now here I am still in Coppell with Grace. Theres not anything wrong with staying home and I've finally come to my senses with it. Saving money and staying close with my family is something that I am very happy about.
Bryce, Stevie, Ric and Nick all leaving has taken a toll on me as well. They are some sweet, super cool boys that I have come to love very very much. Saying bye to them was no easy task either.
These past few weeks all my friends and I have been saying, through tears, why did we do this to ourselves, going to different colleges and leaving each other behind? But honestly why not? We were given the chance to grow together in love, sadness, happiness and in our faith. Now it is time to branch out and spread our tears and triumphs with new friends and in new places. Though this won't be easy for us, we all have our little safe haven here at home in the small town of Coppell and I can't wait for them all to come home.
I can't thank everyone enough who played a small or major role in my life. They made me the best person that I could be and I would not be the loser/awesome person I am with out each and everyone of them. Thanks for the memories.
I wish the best to you all.
