my heart is so happy
why yes, there are 5 of us in one bed
After stuffing ourselves and lounging around, Bryce and I went to the Black Friday (thursday) sales at Target. I got a cute sweater and a shirt for Bryce for Christmas. Afterwards, we went to Grapevine Mainstreer and luckily all the Christmas lights and decorations were already up! Bryce had never been down there during Christmas time, so it was something fun to experience with him.
infamous light tunnel
I love him.
Friday morning, I woke up quite early to go to the SMU game with the Hunt family. It had been quite a while since I had been to one of those games, so I'm glad I got to go. Despite not winning a single game, and continuing that streak by losing on Friday, it was beautiful out and a fun time. That night, we hung out with Suaysh, Tyler and Nick playing basketball, soccer, and football. I watched more than played, but it was still fun.
After being SUPER athletic, we went to Ali's house (of course) and had a bonfire with all the usuals. It's so fun to go your different ways with friends and be able to pick up right where you left off.
Saturday was wonderful. I woke up eager for the day because I was going to the SOMO concert that night. The tickets sort of fell into my lap and Bryce and I were lucky enough to go. After I got my tickets, Emily got some too! After over a year of saying we were going to go to a SoMo concert, we finally followed through. It was fun because Blake and Dustin were there too!!
FREE glowsticks are fun
thx for going with me even if you dont know any of SoMo's songs.
just wow.
I am so thankful for my wonderful family, friends, and boyfriend. Sadly, the break was a bit of tease and I am ready for all my pals to be back home with me. Two more weeks (three for some) and I couldn't be happier.
Love, Shan
and here is a classic pic of my brother and I....
