The week of recruitment was a long one. You meet so many people and have the same conversation over and over again, but you get to find a home away from home at the end of it!
Friday was an emotional day for me. Mainly because I think I was so tired. I called my mom crying without a reason and she told me she was in Fayetteville!!! I had no idea she was even coming.
Saturday was bid day and it was so exciting and overwhelming. So many people were yelling and cheering it was great.
bid day was a CRAZY party!!
I opened my bid and ran to my bid day buddy, Megan! I talked to her multiple times during the week and we just had a lot in common. We've now become great friends! :)
i LOVE my sorority :)
this is megan, she was my bid day buddy!
We had a pep rally that was actually a "freshman pep rally", but since I'm a new member, I went too. After a wednesday craft night with a few of my friends, I was so proud of myself for making this tutu. Alpha Chi Rocks for many reasons, but one of them is because our colors are red and green. CHRISTMAS.
I can tell that I'll be very VERY happy in Alpha Chi Omega. I have already met so many people that I get to be friends AND sisters with. This is so great.
Woo Pig. Happy Monday.
