Emily, Megan, Maci and me went to a place called Vitruvian Park in Addison. It was so pretty! I had never been before so it was fun to go with great friends! There were so many people there and a great place to be. We saw people singing and some little kids dancing. The atmosphere was great.
Another thing I like to do is look at all the different Christmas trees that are everywhere. While the one my mom sets up at home is absolutely beautiful, it is hard to beat the tree centered around the ice skating rink at the Galleria mall. It looked a little different this year, but still just as beautiful. If you are looking for a good place to go ice skating in the Dallas area, the Galleria mall is a the place to go!
My family and I always open our Christmas presents to each other before we go to Tulsa and it is just so much fun. We do it every year and it is just our fun little tradition as an immediate family.
And what better way to stay in the Christmas spirit AFTER Christmas than to go look at decorations around Dallas after the holiday is over?! Once I got back from Oklahoma, Emily and I drove into Dallas on a VERY cold day and looked at some of the fun little decorations that were still up. Klyde Warren Park is one of our favorite places, and they have some good decorations that I've actually never seen before. We spent an hour outside and then drove to Starbucks for a warm drink.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! I'm ready to take on 2016!
