TEXAS STATE FAIR

I love going home. Home is in Texas, and Texas is where my heart will forever be. A few weeks ago was my Fall Break from school. Bryce and I went home a little later than usual because we wanted to stay and watch Arkansas beat Ole Miss and we did!!! It was a really fun game and the third year in a row we beat them!

When we got home, we relaxed with our family and ate at restaurants we’ve missed while we have been at school, but most importantly, we went to The Texas State Fair! I love going to the fair. It has yummy food, fun games/rides, and fun little tents with many things to buy.

Bryce and I went on Monday and since most people were at school or work, it wasn’t too busy and there was a nice breeze that took the heat away. I’m not a big fan of rides in general, so we actually don’t ride any of those, and it doesn’t help that tickets for rides are super expensive, but we still had a lot of fun.

We immediately got corn dogs when we got there, walked around the entire fair grounds, I then got a mango on a stick, Bryce got fried pizza which was delicious as well as a ton of root beer because you can't go wrong with that!

We got to look up at the HUGE ferris wheel which is probably one of my favorite things about the fair. I have to lean my head all the way back to see the very top of it. I've ridden it so many times, but this time we just looked at it for a bit. We also went into the petting zoo area, because it's always fun to feed to goats and such. I'm a sucker for any animal and so is Bryce, so we had a lot of fun walking through there.

Lastly, Bryce told me from the start he wanted to win me a huge stuffed animal so at the end of our time at the fair, we got a game card and he played three games. Needless to say, there was no stuffed animal won haha, but he honestly was really close and it was fun to watch him play!

I also wanted to share my casual comfy outfit with you all and this person that I've had for a while. I just wore a casual purple v-neck from Target. some old jeans from Dillards, but another pair I like can be found here, and my Adidas Neos that I am obsessed with. This purse is from a brand called The Sak that my mom got for me a few years back, but you can search for similar ones here.
