Shannon Says: Hoppy Easter!

Okay that was cliche, but super cute. Admit it... This Easter was a different one for me. Instead of going to Oklahoma with my family, I stayed home and went to the State Soccer game in Georgetown. After much pleading, my parents agreed to letting me take the 3 hour roadtrip. I was ecstatic. Friday night was filled with watching out baseball team BEAT MARCUS. Bryce scored the winning run and I was so proud. :') I also helped Emily ask Mil to banquet so that was fun!

Saturday, we woke up and left to attend the soccer game. The game before ours was super behind so the game started at 2:30 instead of one, but it was fun when they finally took the field. Although they lost and didnt get that two-peat, it was an honor being Nicky P's sideline psycho and cheering on the entire team all season. They are a great group of guys and so much fun to watch.

Sunday was Easter of course! Since my family was gone, I attened noon mass by myself. I was kinda sad, but peaceful at the same time. That afternoon, I went to Bryce's house and spent Easter afternoon with him and his family. His mom made yummy cookies and we watched movies all afternoon. It wasnt exactly the Easter I expected, but it was still a great one. Praise Jesus! Hope you all had a great weekend as well.
