hidden lake, fireworks & friends

A few weeks ago my friend Regan posted these BEAUTIFUL pictures of some hidden mystery lake. Emily and I were in love and decided we had to figure out where it was. After some intense creeping of her instagram, we figured out where it was. It was honestly so beautiful. Regan warned me that it was in kind of a sketchy area and boy was she right. We crawled under the fence and walked all the way down to the crystal blue water. Oh when I say we, I mean Emily, Stevie, Bryce and I. It was such a cool experience and I would never have guessed Texas had places like that.

That day was also the fourth of July which is one of my favorite nights. I absoluley LOVE fireworks and getting to watch them two nights in a row was a real treat. 

That day we also sent Maci, Emily, Christian and Jack off to Camp Pike as they begin their adventure as camp counselors. They're off in the mountains for two weeks and I really do envy them. Best of luck friends. 

I leave for Laredo on the 11th and I'm beyond excited, them I'm back for four days and leave for Florida. Boy do I love summer. :)
