I'm an Adult

This year, I am an adult leader for the 8th grade youth group at my church. It is especially fun because my brother is in 8th grade so we get to spend more time together than we used to. This past weekend was the 7th and 8th grade fall retreat and I was lucky enough to be able to go and lead my own group.

I adored my group. They were all so sweet and wanted to answer my questions. I will continue to care and pray for them even if they did eat all my blue jolly ranchers. ;)

Right before the retreat started, I offered to make the video since we didn't have anyone already doing it. Saturday night, I stayed up until about 2:30 in the morning trying to finish it, only to wake up to a lady giving me more pictures to add. I was exhausted and very stressed, but everyone enjoyed it and I'm glad I found the time to make it.

This past weekend was also Bryce's fall break which was SUPERRR nice. We had a double date with Grace and Trevor, went to the fair, carved a pumpkin and just hung out. I was so happy to have my sweet boy home. Happy Saturday!
